There are many spin-offs in our Ecosystem but only a few base components. OpenCog Hyperon is an open-source general artificial intelligence (AGI) system based on OpenCog and is also one of the core technologies of the SingularityNET network. It has different AI strategies and methods such as Neuro Symbolic AI, Evolutionary Learning systems, Machine Learning, etc. These AI strategies can collaborate with each other to help SingularityNET execute complex transactional commands.
One of those strategies is called, Neuro Symbolic AI. SingularityNET's Giant Neur Symbolic AI's name is Zarqa. Zarqa is designed from the outset to achieve human and superhuman levels of creativity, logical reasoning and decision making, combining huge multimodal neural networks native to logical calculations and expressions with a symbolic core capable of working with grounded and relevant knowledge.

Zarqa supports a dynamically updated model of the world, resulting in the phenomenon of critical machine thinking, as well as a model of AI’s own personality that can evolve, can support the process of self-reflection, and can follow a fundamental moral narrative and ethical codex, bringing a level of predictability, interpretability and security that was unattainable for previous generations of AI.
Zarqa is a neural-symbolic language model that aims to bridge the gap between neural networks and symbolic reasoning. It combines the strengths of both paradigms, enabling more robust and interpretable language understanding and generation. The name “Zarqa” is derived from the Arabic word “bridge,” reflecting its goal of connecting neural networks and symbolic logic.
Core Components of Zarqa
Integration of neural networks and symbolic reasoning
Utilizing neural elements for fluent and coherent text generation
Enhancing reading ability with symbolic reasoning techniques
At the world-wide unveiling of this amazing computational system on May 8, 2024, along with the announcement of a partnership with Elohim Technology LLC, AI consultant to The United Nations, Jerome Glenn, CEO of The Millennium Project provided a glimpse into a unique user experience and the future of empathetic digital communication. The event also featured a demonstration of the avatar’s capabilities with participation from Dr Ben Goertzel of SingularityNET
